Chnnll - a means of communication or expression: As: a path along which information (as data or music) in the form of an electrical signal passes

Chnnll (Pronounced: Channel) is an electronic pop trio led by multi-instrumentalist Chris Davidson, and blends the warm analogue sound of live instruments with computer manipulations and warped synths.

Chris moved to New York City in 2009 to pursue a career as a jazz drummer and composer. While attending The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music, Chris had the pleasure of studying with Reggie Workman (John Coltrane, Art Blakey, Miles Davis) Mark Guiliana (David Bowie) and Billy Martin (Medeski Martin and Wood).

While Chris’s appreciation for jazz is still strong, he has grown into a new musical direction. He is no longer behind the drums on the stage, but up front singing, switching between keyboards and guitar, reincarnated as front man Chnnll.
