Mama Knoz is an unapologetically queer and black artist promoting individuality, positive sexuality, and self-confidence. Music has always been a part Mama Knoz's life while growing up in North Carolina. After suffering the loss of a close friend he decided to pick up and move to a new city.

Mama Knoz doesn't fit in a box, and never will. He uses music to address relationship challenges and the complexities of sexuality, specifically from a black perspective.

"I am here because I want to be here. I want to be here and have fun with the audience. To tell my story and to inspire others just to be weird and different and that's okay. I'm also here to let the world know that "we" are here.
