A rebellious cadre of Twin Cities jazz and hip hop luminaries, Coloring Time is a musical accident waiting to happen, so to speak. Instrumentalists Casey O’Brien (bass),Graham O’Brien (drums), John Keston (keys), Robert Mulrennen (guitar) and Jon Davis (reeds) pave nebulous jazzways on which vocalist/MCs Joe Horton, Kristoff Krane and Adam Svec race headlong to rapture and epiphany. The group often reinforces its numbers with notable vocal and instrumental guests. Never the same show. Always an adventure!

GREG SCHUTTE -

Greg Schutte is an American drummer, producer and sound designer. Over the past 20 years has as performed nationally and internationally with a wide variety of artists/groups, including: The Mickey Hart Band, Chastity Brown Band, Todd Clouser's A Love Electric, The Hornheads, Jelloslave, Lori Line, Anthony Cox, Test Site 67, Empire Brass, Chuchito Valdez, Bernard Allison, Mary Cutrufello, and many more.

As a touring drummer, Greg is currently playing with The Mickey Hart Band. He has also performed on B.B. King's '02 US "Summer Blues Fest" with The Shane Henry Group, Ruf Records '04 European "Blues Caravan" Tour with guitarist Sue Foley, and Cyndi Lauper's '06 "Body Acoustic World Tour" with Mpls Reggae Pop group The RULE. In 2010 Greg toured Iraq and Kuwait performing for the US/Coalition Forces with singer/songwriter Keri Noble. And from 2008-2010 he toured and recorded with Lorie Line and her Pop Chamber Orchestra. In 2011, Greg performed for Todd Clouser's A Love Electric European Tour and additional dates in Mexico.

Currently Greg is producing his forth year commissioned original compositions for Ananya Dance Theatre, 2009-2013, premiering in Trinidad, Zimbabwe, and in Minneapolis, MN at the Southern Theater and O'Shaughnessy Auditorium.

Greg also owns and produces music at The Bathtub Shrine Recording Studio in NE Minneapolis.

MIKE ROSSETTO -

Michael Rossetto is a banjoist/guitarist/composer that resides in Minneapolis, MN. For seven years he led the acclaimed instrumental quartet, Spaghetti Western String Co. He currently performs live with Frankie Lee, Red House Recording artists, The Pines and Pieta Brown.

His music has been used in the documentary Winnebago
Man.
