Murkury:

Murkury is an experimental, electro-soul band comprised of drummer Miguel Hurtado (Hustle Rose, Courageous Endeavors), pianist Javi Santiago and vocalist/pianist Taylor Johnson (aka Proper T) (Zuluzuluu, Caroline Smith, Sol Flower Collective). They mix improvisational aspects of jazz and blues with pop sensibilities and electronic innovations.

Kiana Marie:

Kiana Marie is a singer/songwriter, actress, and model, but her first love is music. A MacPhail alumni, student of vocal chair, Vicky Mountain and Bruce Henry, she has been described as having a sound of her own, with strong influenced undertones of a young Beyonce and a young seasoned Etta James. She grew up in a musical family and was exposed to many different genres of music at a very young age which helped shape her versatile sound. She is a member of The Universoul Band, MVP Band, Musicians4Musicians, Raising the Bar-An Artist’s Loft, and solo projects. Some of her proudest accomplishments are singing the National Anthem at a Timberwolves game, writing a song produced by award winning producer, Shaun Labelle featuring Grammy nominee Stokley Williams of Mint Condition, and appearing on Beyonce’s I Am World DVD doing the Single Ladies Dance. Kiana Marie is about to start work on her next cd project through her company Songstress Productions. Her latest single is a piano/voice version of Lay it Down, available at cdbaby.com/kianamarie
