Students Lead in Anti-Racist Classrooms
Tom Rademacher teaches in Minneapolis and was named Minnesota
Teacher of the Year in 2014. Tom’s work in the classroom focuses on
giving his students opportunities to learn about the world, reasons to
really care about it, and the voice and tools to change it. Outside of his
classroom, he’s passionate about new teacher support and student
advocacy. In whatever free time he finds, he writes (misterrad.tumblr.com)
and tweets (@mrtomrad) about education. Tom says his greatest teachers
have always been far older or far younger than himself.
