c.Kostra is Ryan Olcott. A Minneapolis recording artist, performer, writer, producer, technician, musical conceptualist & scene mogul. His credits include 12rods (V2 records, Chigliak / perfect 10 in Pitchfork), Mystery Palace & Foodteam (Zod, TGNP, Magic Rub) as a circuit bending pioneer and now currently c.Kostra, as the re-invented visionary cassette producer and co-owner of Pytch Records. c.Kostra’s debut full length, ‘now i feel it’ is a collection of his first songs, most clocking in at barely 3 minutes of surreal distinctive lo-fi R&B crafted with an unexpected soulful vocoder and tons of hooks.

So the Portuguese have this saying: saudade, a single word that summarizes an entire state of being, a lingering sense of longing for lost love and sepia-toned snapshots of yesterday. The way Solid Gold sees it, saudade might as well be the subtitle of their second album: Eat Your Young, a slow-burning set of skittish synths, glassy beats, ripple effect riffs, and melancholic melodies that leave you wondering what left a trail of scar tissue deep within the group’s core trio (frontman Zack Coulter and multi-instrumentalists Matthew Locher and Adam Hurlburt).

Nikki Pfeifer aka, Devata Daun, is a Minneapolis oddity currently making lofi psychedelic electronic music in the Twin Cities’ area. The writer, musician and cofounder of Pytch Records, has been busy working alongside Ryan Olcott and Garrison Grouse on their label’s recent launch. It can be expected that Devata Daun’s debut album ‘look’ will be completely saturated with brooding and soulful darkwave tones.
