Fort Wilson Riot:

This Minneapolis-based avant pop duo of Amy Hager and Jacob Mullis have no shortness of ambition. In 2011 they gave us the Generation Complex EP which experimented with pristine vocal harmonies married to jarring electro-garage-pop. Through 2012 and 2013 they made a mad dash around the USA into clubs, bars, living rooms and festivals like SXSW, CMJ, Midpoint Music Festival, Cataracts, Freakfest, and Independent’s Day.

And now, “trIllIun”. With the former 12 Rods and Mystery Palace man, Ryan Olcott, at the production helm, Fort Wilson Riot promise an album that blurs boundaries while immersing the listener in hypnotic waves from some sunset alien shore. The first taste is “Yes Indeed,” a sultry psychedelic R&B jam that showcases a new side of FWR and gives a tantalizing glimpse of the exciting new ground they are covering.

Eros and the Eschaton:

Beginning as the experimental two-piece recording and performance project of Kate Perdoni and Adam Hawkins in 2012, Eros and the Eschaton arrives “weaving magic into shoe gaze pop” via “an onslaught… making great double-date partners with Yo La Tengo.” (SPIN)

With a to-date career highlighting an album on legendary indie-rock label Bar/None Records — Home Address for Civil War (2013) — and an upcoming sophomore follow-up scheduled for 2016, the band’s recordings stand alongside pillar international television and web commercial work including Billabong, Billabong Women’s, Fox Head Racing, Fox Head Australia, X Games, and Monster Energy. The band was picked up by Red Bull’s flagship Sound Select music roster following official showcases at CMJ, SXSW and Hopscotch, and are local favorites at Denver's annual Underground Music Festival and the Westward Music Showcase, where they were voted Denver Westword’s “Best Of” in the Pop Category in 2015.

Enhanced by the addition of drummer Alex Koshak in 2014, and bassist Ryan Spradlin and keyboardist Mitch Macura in 2015, the band channels an album-representational force of pop hooks & mayhem.
