Kind Country:

Kind music for kind people. Kind Country is a Minneapolis based band that plays American standards as well as their own brand of Cosmic American music. Since their formation in 2012, the band has focused on creating live performances with high levels of improvisation and energy gathering with a goal of creating a moment of musical bliss that can be shared by audience members and band alike.

Kind Country released their debut self titled album “Kind Country” in the fall of 2013. Since then they have been bringing their music on the road playing live performances at theaters, bars, auditoriums, festivals, and everywhere in between all throughout the United States.

Formed as a 6 piece string band in 2012, Kind Country has recently begun incorporating drums and keyboard into some of their live performances bringing the total number of musicians to 8. This large collaboration of musicians has recently begun production on their next album slated to come out sometime later this year.

Kind Country was formed in January of 2012. The band has since expanded their lineup to 6 members. Brought together by common influences and good nature, Kind Country hopes to spread a peaceful easy feeling across their home state of Minnesota.

Feeding Leroy:

Feeding LeRoy came out of the collaboration of Sonja and Lee's original songs, blending into a unique project, with their songwriting and vocal harmonies as the focus of this bands sound. It's kind of a family affair now, with brother Luke stepping in on the harmonica and long time friend and bassist, Adam Staupe on the upright bass, both adding their vocal harmonies, creating somewhat of a gospel undertone that acts as it's own instrument in the band.

You can find this foursome around the twin ports of Duluth, MN and Superior, WI, but they have also recently taken to the open road, bringing this up north sound to new cities across the nation. Think Gram Parsons and Emmylou meets the Jayhawks... its country music at its core, it's fun, its original,
it's Feeding LeRoy.
