Kazyak:

• Twin Cities-based Kazyak is the indie craft-vehicle of songwriter/guitarist Peter Frey and debuted with the 2014 release of See the Forest, See the Trees. The band is currently ramping up for their second release, titled Happy Camping, in July 2017, and thickened its live lineup to include Andy Wolfe (guitar), Pat Hayes (synth, piano), Lana Bolin (bass), and Nick Grewe (drums). 
  • Kazyak finds its source in a deep pool of midwestern music, drawing on the abstract side of Bob Dylan's songwriting and lofty sonic architecture from the likes of 12 Rods, Fat Kid Wednesdays, Tiki Obmar, and Halloween, Alaska. The group has shared the stage with many, including LA indie rockers the Local Natives and Duluth-based Trampled by Turtles, and continues to collaborate closely with Minneapolis-based engineer/drummer Brett Bullion. 

Hits and Hers:

Hits and Hers is a MN-based fiddle duo featuring Bex Gaunt & Cierra Hill. 

Dylan McFarling:

Dylan McFarling is an independent singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Minneapolis, MN. Having performed and recorded for years with numerous artists around the state, he debuted his solo project with the 2014 release A Work in Progress, and a follow-up release in 2016 titled "New Albion Blues." His songwriting is distinctly personal, roots-oriented recalling elements of folk, soul, and vintage rock.
