Tacky Annie:
Both Rachelle LaNae and Andrew Frederick studied music formally receiving a degree in
performance. Steeped heavily in classical music Rachelle’s training starkly contrasts that of
Andrew’s which lives in the realm of jazz and groove oriented music. In the fall of 2017 by
combining these two worlds with their unabashed appreciation for folk and pop music they
began their musical relationship and Tacky Annie was born. If you like Sylvan Esso, Phantogram, Chvrches, or Julia Michaels there may be something for you in Tacky Annie.
Lydia Liza:
Lydia Liza eats red flags for breakfast. Not a lot of artists can wear the “teenage musical prodigy” hat and go on to find success as an adult. Not a lot of artists can write a smash novelty holiday song and go on to transcend the “viral sensation” label. But LydiaLiza taught herself guitar at 14, and has always been in this for the long haul. Lydia’s work ethic, not to mention her sharp, forward-thinking songwriting skills, has paid off. She’s shared the stage with artists like Justin Courtney Pierre, The Goo Goo Dolls, Kimya Dawson, Atmosphere, Dessa, Dead Man Winter, Chastity Brown, and many others, and is currently working on two projects: a full-length collaboration with producer Big Cats, and a new band and full-length under Your Friend, Lydia Liza(featuring Jessica Anderson of Enemy Planes, Jimmy Osterholt of Savage Moods, Jillian Rae and Gospel Machine, and Kelly Blau of Rachel Hanson).
