Chance York:

Chance York (Slim Chance) is a Minneapolis-born writer, and emcee. Work with his bands, Crunchy Kids and Eric Mayson's Detail, brought much attention to Chance as he launched as a solo act. Chance is a standout figure in the Minneapolis music community, a rapper with dynamic lyricism in a variety of capacities. His lyrics have been described as deeply personal yet universal. Slim Chance shifts from micro to macro observations...He expounds on the darkness of everyday life, yet manages to make light of it through optimism and inventive humor.

Spencer Wirth-Davis

Spencer Wirth-Davis (AKA Big Cats) is a producer, DJ, composer, and musician from Minneapolis, MN. He makes instrumental hip hop that draws from a wide range of musical influences including classical, hip hop and jazz. His work is melancholy, multi-layered and cinematic; a definite stylistic departure from the standard hip hop sound. Drawing from his background as a classically trained musician, his compositions go well beyond the traditional sample-and-drums format of hip hop, creating complex juxtapositions of instruments, rhythms and sonic textures. Before turning to hip hop, Wirth-Davis studied string bass for nine years under the instruction of Chris Brown (St. Paul Chamber Orchestra), Michael Watson (Minnesota Opera), and Chris Bates.

Lady Midnight has developed her chops by playing in wide-ranging groups like the electro-pop trio VANDAAM and the horn-fueled Afro-Cuban band Malamanya. There's never been a better time to take a closer look at this entrancing singer, however, as she emerges as a solo artist. Sugo

KCMO native Sugo, aka Nick ‘Sugo’ Turner is a Minneapolis based artist and midwestern golden boy who is forging his own brand of contemporary hip hop in the Upper Midwest.

Since releasing LUSH in April 2018 he has been touring the West Coast and Midwest, bringing his music to such diverse locales as Seattle, Denver and Ames, Iowa.

On LUSH, Sugo blends his smooth vocals, at times bright and youthful while at others deep and direct, with cool flow and chill contemporary beats. The result is an album that is both atmospheric & impactful.
