Mina Moore:

Mina Moore is a singer-song writer from Minneapolis. Her music draws from that of her upbringing, leaning heavily on soul, R&B, and inevitably, pop. Like so many of us, Mina's pallet is ever growing, and her live performances aim to educate as much as entertain.

Like so many of us, Mina's pallet is ever growing, and her live performances aim to educate as much as entertain. Mina Moore will release her debut album this fall.

Angel Davanport:

Angel Davanport is slowly but surely becoming one of the most exciting new artists to watch. Having a Tech N9Ne feature with The Game already under her belt, and being the creator of the all-female supergroup The Rapperchicks, Angel is a true and budding force. Her latest release, Gender Fender Bender was both controversial and undeniably amazing.

Aaron Rice:

Aaron Rice is a Minneapolis-based Electronic Artist. His acclaimed two-piece AATS drew global audiences and earned him a featured Up-and-Comer slot at the Iceland Airwaves Festival. Building off the success of AATS, Aaron Rice wrote and recorded his first solo album Neverfade last year while living in LA, and produced and mixed the tracks in New York City with long-time collaborator and experimental ambient composer Grant Cutler. Neverfade, set for release later this year, weaves together musical influences of a 90’s kid growing up mixed-race in the Midwest (N64’s Wave Race meets TLC) with sparse trap hi-hats and probing lyrics. The result is a declaration at a dance party; an emotive sound story as rich as its roots. Performing material from the forthcoming solo debut, he’s shared stages with Gold Panda, Crystal Castles and Open Mike Eagle.

DJ Espada:

Espada (aka Damien Vasquez) has been a mainstay in the Twin Cities DJ community for over 10 years. He came up with some of the Twin Cities most notable hiphop artists including Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Eyedea & Abilities and was one of the original DJs of RSE Radio. He's been a part of some of Minneapolis' most successful and respected hip hop nights at The Loring Pasta Bar, Rhymesayers' "Essential Elements" and "Let's Get Electric" with Mike the 2600 King.

2009 saw Espada looking to branch outside of the Twin Cities but also re-evaluate his place within his own community. Teaming up with three Minneapolis based DJs and designer Adam Garcia of the Pressure, Wants Vs Needs was born. Espada brings an eclectic deep cut mix of funk, soul, disco to the table while maintaining what is relevant in music today. Having performed for crowds in not only the Twin Cities he's also performed in Austin, Chicago, Portland, Milwaukee, Winnipeg and played the SXSW Music Conference as well as Rhymesayers' Soundset Festival.
