Brittany “Miss Brit” Lynch is constantly working to change herself and the world she lives in. Working interdependently between media, art, curation and social justice, she has emerged as a tastemaker for the Twin Cities entertainment scene. WCCO’s Urban Perspectives coined her as a “Rising Star.” The Star Tribune declared her one of the “Most Influential Black Young Leaders of the Twin Cities,” featuring her activism in spoken word poetry. Miss Brit is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she received her degree in the Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance with a minor in African and African American Studies. She is a recipient of the Verve Spoken Word Grant from Intermedia Arts, and her writing has been published in the Star Tribune and St. Paul Almanac. She is the resident DJ and curator for The Feels, a healing based experience featuring music and spoken word. Shannon Blowtorch is an award winning, DJ, promoter, professional party thrower, sound engineer, businesswoman, and entertainment consultant. As the DJ for popular Twin Cities’ events, the City Pages and Star Tribune have recognized Shannon Blowtorch as being the Best Club DJ in the Twin Cities. She’s been featured in Curve magazine, and 100 woman we love in Go Magazine.
Adonia Kyle has been a long time artist, curator and performer in the Twin Cities for the past couple decades. As a multidisciplinary artist her talents range from improvisational dance to producing burlesque cabarets and live stage acting. In short, she has continued to push music into every aspect of her life as a collaborator and persona. Now over the past couple years she has added Djing to her repertoire playing at venues across the Twin Cities area. From opening acts at major clubs with members of the LGBTQ community to hosting regular weekly nights with some of Minneapolis’ most well known Dj’s and musicians.
