Blueprint:

Blueprint (aka Printmatic), is an emcee/producer from the city of Columbus, OH who began his career with the release of a couple unassuming cassette tapes in 1999.  The success of those tapes at a local level inspired he and his crew to form their own independent label, Weightless Recordings, and led to national and international distribution of their releases.  Those early recordings eventually spread to the internet (still new at the time), and propelled the Weightless crew to national recognition, as a part of the fast-rising Columbus hip-hop scene that included acts like Illogic, Camu Tao, RJD2, Copywrite, Greenhouse Effect, DJ Przm & Spitball, J. Rawls, and The MHz.

With Blueprint at the production helm, Weightless Recordings went on to become the most successful independent hip-hop label in the history of Columbus, releasing records from Blueprint, Illogic, Greenhouse Effect, Envelope, and Zero Star – which created strong local and national followings.  The press took note as well and XLR8R Magazine featured Weightless Recordings as one of their “Labels to Watch,” and Blueprint was listed by URB Magazine in their Next 100 issue.

Although his initial buzz came from his work as a producer, the formation of Soul Position with instrumentalist RJD2 pushed Blueprint into the spotlight as an emcee.  The duo signed to independent powerhouse label Rhymesayers Entertainment, and released three critically acclaimed projects (Unlimited, 8-Million Stories, and Things Go Better with RJ & Al), that were featured in outlets like Spin, URB, XLR8R, and Hiphopsite.comamong others.

In 2005, Blueprint released his debut solo release 1988, touring the United States and Canada extensively, and over the course of the next four years proved to be one of the most prolific artists around by releasing two solo EP’s (Blueprint Who & Blueprint vs Funkadelic), two instrumental albums (Sign Language & Chamber Music),  two Greenhouse EPs (Electric Purgatory Part One & Two), and his his genre-defying sophomore album Adventures in Counter-Culture in 2011 on Rhymesayers Entertainment.

In 2012, Blueprint added the title of author to his list of accomplishments, self-publishing two books: The Making of Adventures in Counter-Cultureand Word is Blog: Volume One. Blueprint also released his b-side collection Deleted Scenes in 2012 and his collaborative Greenhouse album with Illogic, Bend But Don’t Break, in 2013.  Not one for slowing down, Blueprint has released solo albums Respect the Architect in 2014 and King No Crown in 2015, and the Vigilante Genesis EP (his collaboration with Aesop Rock) in 2016.  He is preparing his first film, titled King No Crown, for a fall of 2017 release.

In his 15 years as a full-time artist, he has been on the cover of the Columbus Alive five times, the cover of Ghetto Blaster Magazine, been on the front page of MTV.com, had his video in regular rotation on MTV & MTVu, and toured the United States (15x), Canada (8x), & Europe (5x). His Soul Position crew has headlined a sold-out nationwide tour, and he has toured with acts such as Atmosphere, Murs, Brother Ali, Living Legends, Evidence, Blowfly, Islands, Grieves & Budo, and Eyedea & Abilities on his way to becoming one of the most respected artists in underground hip-hop.

Ceschi:

Ceschi Ramos is a rapper and singer from Connecticut who has been hopping genres and spilling guts for the better part of two decades. He has been seen outside venues at 3am in Germany playing an acoustic guitar and singing to people that didn’t want the show to end. He has written poems to fans from behind bars whilst locked up on bogus marijuana charges. He has suffered a spiral fracture of the humerus while arm wrestling a marine in Hawaii. He has recorded with and toured alongside some of independent rap music’s most influential figures, including Sage Francis, Busdriver and Astronautalis. He has been in bands described as hardcore, crunk rap, lo-fi synth pop, Latin progressive and psych-jazz-rap. He has crafted abstracted and personal narratives mining the depths of depression and heights of hope. He has slept on countless floors when hotels weren’t in the touring budget and lost girlfriends and jobs all for the love of creating and performing.

Ceschi was born with four fingers on his right hand, which served as partial inspiration for the name of his DIY record label, Fake Four, Inc. Those who have worked with him describe Ceschi as one of the most artist-friendly labelheads out there, a rare breed who values art over profit almost to a fault. Since 2008, he has curated a roster of wildly original and critically praised talent and put out albums from the likes of Open Mike Eagle, Buck 65, Sister Crayon and Dark Time Sunshine in addition to his solo records The One Man Band Broke Up and Broken Bone Ballads.

An engaging, theatrical live performer, Ceschi Ramos has treated entire venues like a stage, viewing the middle of the audience or an empty barstool as good a place as any to perform a soul-baring folk song or tongue-twisting rap track. Ceschi once described himself in song as “a martyr at most… a failure at least” and said that, “In the eyes of history I’ll be no more than a leaf on a tree.” He knows what it is to suffer for his art and is aware that music exploring the ugliness and sorrow of the human condition will always exist on the fringes of a game dominated by disposable escapism and expensive publicists. Yet he still pours everything he has into his craft, and on any given night you can find him tracking vocals at his cousin’s New Haven studio, warmly greeting fans and friends at a dive bar merch booth or rapping double-time in Japan or Europe for audiences that often don’t speak his language, but are able to see the giant heart at the core of it all.

Sean Anonymous:

Sean Anonymous has become one of the most consistent figures in the Minneapolis hip hop scene and has been hailed by critics and audiences alike for his for relentless energy and enigmatic style. His rapid fire style mixed with humble honesty breathes fresh air into an industry clamoring for authentic messaging. 

No stranger to large stages or bright lights Sean has performed along side of some of Hip Hop's most influential acts including: Macklemore, Talib Kweli, Bun B, KRS One, Dead Prez, P.O.S and others. 

A spot on Vans Warped Tour, headlinging Minneapolis' famed First Ave, and performing at SXSW have all become notches on Sean's belt in recent years. With an insatiable appetite for connecting with fans and artists alike, Sean's music and words can be heard resonating throughout the country. 

beyondbliss:

beyondbliss hails from the hip hop mecca of Minnesota. For the past few years he has been living out of his van and documenting his tours and travels around country, so far hitting 47 of the 50 states with his eyes fixed on his first Journey to Europe set for June 2018. He  performs anywhere from well-known venues, dive bars, colleges to conferences and smaller indie festivals and has performed shows with some of the best names in indie rap (Immortal Technique, Sage Francis, Tech N9ne, Mac Lethal, Yelawolf, etc) He brings a blue collar work ethic, thought provoking lyrics and hard hitting sample heavy beats to the often times watered down world of rap.  His conceptually driven records are known for their wild variations from song to song giving the listener a genre blending audible experience while still maintaining the core structure of hip hop. He brings a rapid fire articulate delivery, intense stage presence and personal story telling to his live shows. Some of his popular online content includes podcast raps for the Joe Rogan Experience and Bill Burr podcast as well as TV show recap raps for television shows like The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.
