Gabriel Douglas:

Gabriel Douglas has built his reputation on the churning, heavy-thumping blues rock of the 4onthefloor, whose sound is defined as much by his wild man warrior-bellow vocals as it is by the steady pulse of the four members’ synchronous bass-drum thuds—but a delve into the corners of his catalog reveals an artist with a startling breadth of interests. The man keeps busy, holding down gigs in several stylistically distinct groups while regularly performing and recording solo. The solo shows let the guttural howls show through and the songs breathe new lives as stripped down road songs.

His new record let’s his voice carry throughout the album. The lovely additions of a ’68 Gibson LG0 & lap steel give a warmth and depth to the songs that is quite pleasing to the ear.

Christian Wheeler:

Christian Wheeler is Producer/Singer-Songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. His songs mix an ear for melody and a love of classic pop music. Wheeler's guitar playing is the foundation of the music, making use of jangling rhythm parts and hummable leads.  He currently writes and performs his own music in the Twin Cities, while still making time to play in other bands. He has produced records for artists such as George Faber, QNA, Merino Wool, Steve Wheeler, and many more. He is also a founding member of the music production organization DNNR PRTY. In addition to being included on DNNR PRTY's compilation "First Feast," the track, "Write a Song About You" was included on the compilation album Oles Rock: Volume V. Wheeler has had much performing experience, opening for such artists as Rogue Valley, Cloud Cult, and Hippocampus. He currently performs with the collective Kriyative Emblems of a Blue Soul Renaissance in the groups 26 Bats!, Lucid Vanguard and WTF. Christian just released Side I of a full length album. Side II will follow in early 2017.
