Ensemble Ceisio:

Ensemble Ceisio, from the Welsh word meaning to seek or endeavor, is a community of musicians seeking to connect to the world around us through the rich and unique medium of chamber music. We seek to foster an open environment for reflection and interconnectedness where any person is welcome to experience chamber music through and with us. Although our home base is in the Twin Cities, our musicians are performing throughout North America in both chamber music and orchestral settings. Our musicians have regularly performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, Minnesota Opera, Britt Festival Orchestra, Banff Festival Orchestra, Duluth-Superior Symphony, Mill City String Quartet, Alexandria Festival of the Lakes, Apollo Music Festival, Columbus Symphony, Orchestra Iowa, National Repertory Orchestra, and many others. Our performances have been heard in venues as diverse as St Paul's Black Dog Cafe to Carnegie Hall, and on MPR, NPR, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and WFMT-Chicago.
