Rob Mitchell:

Rob Mitchell is a poet born and raised in the south, originally heralding from Atlanta, GA. Writing has always been a form of catharsis and a bastion of creation for Rob, even from a young age. Growing up a quintessential, middle-class blerd, Rob’s poetry finds its foundations in the Black experience, the complications and divisions created by wealth, and anime. When Rob isn’t performing poetry in Minneapolis or across the country, he can often be found haunting the halls of Target, talking about sales, or in a friend’s basement, playing yet another 10 hour board game.

Spencer Brownstein:

Spencer Brownstein is a writer and performer who hails from Brooklyn, New York. He first stepped onto a stage in high school as a rapper, and has since transitioned to focusing on performance poetry. He recently graduated from Macalester College with a degree in Creative Writing and Critical Theory, where he won the Wendy Parish Poetry Prize for dedication to the craft and excellence in writing. Spencer represented Mac at CUPSI in both 2016 and 2018. He also writes a pretty kick-ass dungeons and dragons campaign too, because, you know, he’s a dweeb.
