Jamela Pettiford also known as GOD's Queen, was born to sing. Music flows in her blood, descending from the late Oscar and Ira Pettiford, famous jazz musicians. Jamela began singing in church at the early age of 4. She sang with many local and national acts, entertaining in plays, TV commercials and numerous large venues. Jamela Pettiford has sung with the Big John Dickerson Blues Band for over 15 years; with the Band, she was the recipient of the 2007 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame. GOD's Queen Music is a fusion of different genres deeply rooted in soul.
