The Endowment 2019: Twin Cities Poetry & Music Legends Come Together in Support of the Next Generation at Icehouse in Minneapolis

For its third consecutive year, The Endowment fundraiser & dance party, presented by TruArtSpeaks is back at Icehouse and fully loaded with some of the most celebrated artists in the Twin Cities.

IBé Kaba, Shá Cage, Mankwe Ndosi, Douglas R. Ewart and a live band will play an early evening show on Sunday April 14th at Icehouse in Minneapolis, with a 6:00p showtime. Keeping with tradition, the third installation of The Endowment is a fundraising event for Saint Paul based nonprofit, TruArtSpeaks.

The Endowment III will focus on the importance of intergenerational creative and making spaces. Kicking off a year of strategic programming at TruArtSpeaks, in which young people are given the opportunity to learn from and create with their elders and vice versa.

This all ages show is both a celebration of all that we have experience in the Spoken Word & music scene in the Twin Cities and all that has yet to come. Bring a friend, a young person, a colleague or yourself and a good vibe- you don’t want to miss this show.
