Lowry Bridge:

Lowry Bridge hails from NE Minneapolis and its songs reflect on the neighborhood as well as other gritty urban environments these lads have hung their hats over the years. Phil Daniel's songs weave 70's psychedelic rock with folk music and lyrics that make one long for the good bad old days. Happy to have survived it all and tell some stories, Lowry Bridge is releasing its debut album "Under the Fluorescent Sun" at Icehouse on September 12th. Music at 9PM with a $10 cover.

Chemistry Set:

Chemistry Set has been a mainstay in Minneapolis and surrounding regions for more than a decade, playing their brand of roots-inspired music in venues ranging from small neighborhood dive bars to outdoor stages that draw hundreds.

The band's vision comes from singer-songwriter-guitarist Chris Thompson, who has a knack for evocative story lines and catchy musical hooks. He and drummer Steve Smith have played together in various bands since the 1980's, and their vocal harmonies are a hallmark of the band. Jackie Crosby brought a blues and country-swing sensibility to Chemistry Set when she joined in 2010.

"Grit," the band's third record, was released in 2015. Chemistry Set is currently at work on a new studio album and a live recording, both scheduled for release in 2017.
