My current work is comprised of abandoned songs—beloved pieces rescued from obscurity and neglect. Some were written and recorded long ago but didn’t make the final album cut, others were simply set aside and left sleeping. Here, they find comfort in friends—sort of like a welcoming lunch table in middle school.

dear corpse is a book-length poem written by John Colburn and published by Spuyten Duyvil Press in the Fall of 2018. It has been excerpted and adapted as a poem for four voices and will be performed by Lina Jamoul, Tory Peterson, Sheila Regan, and Walken Schweigert.
