Con Davison:
"With his warm voice, honest lyricism, and clear penchant for vibrant, emotive melodies, Davison sets himself apart." - Atwood Magazine
Con Davison is a songwriter and producer based in St. Paul, MN. Melding his Texas upbringing, a love for 70s pop and a knack for arrangement, Davison has created a sound that can be described as one thing: completely himself.
Your Love and Rent is the second EP from the Minnesota songwriter. It is an exploration of letting go a little bit, both in the process by which the record was made, and in the way we pursue the things that matter most to us. Your Love and Rent continues the journey started on Davison’s 2018 EP, Far Off Distant Plans, yet carries with it a renewed sense of direction. Arranged, recorded and mixed almost entirely by Davison, Your Love and Rent is due for self-release on 3/27.
Little Fevers:
"Smart, infectious pop rock gems" - Consequence of Sound
"This Minneapolis quartet could slot neatly in amongst a Mates of State record, a Pavement full-length and Vampire Weekend's first album." - Noisey
Little Fevers is an indie-pop group from Minneapolis made up of the remaining members of the folk pop orchestra Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles who in 2014, traded their acoustic instruments for electric guitars and synthesizers. Reflecting their new sound, they adopted a new name, Little Fevers and released their debut record, Field Trip, which blended their electric indie sound with new wave influences. Field trip was followed by their 7 inch Singles released in 2017 featuring Chris Koza (Rogue Valley) on the guitar after their keyboardist Ashley Boman moved to NYC. Two years later, following Koza's departure, Little Fevers enlisted guitarist Paul Puleo (Knife World and Southside Desire) and completed work on their second full length record Strangers. A much dreamier affair then we’ve heard from the group, Strangers was released December 20th 2019.
Val Son:
Having hustled both locally and abroad for over a decade, members of the Minneapolis psych-folk band, Val Son are no strangers to the Twin Cities music scene. Comprised of Michael Gunvalson, Emily Mohrbacher, Eric Carlson, and Jordan Taylor, the group creates dark and moody arrangements, which lyrically explore themes of existential dread and the use of music as an instrument for change in an increasingly violent and complex world.
