Jacob Hanson + Ted Olsen + Nelson Devereaux

Jacob Hanson is an accomplished guitarist who has been seen and heard with a wide array of high-profile Minnesota artists, including Halloween Alaska, Mason Jennings, Solid Gold, Haley Bonar, The Pines and many more. In addition to dozens of studio recordings, he has toured nationally overseas. With a highly versatile style informed by blues, dub, ‘50s pop and modern rock, he’s known for combining sturdy technique with a colorful palette of pedal-based effects to create inspired musical soundscapes.

Ted Olsen is a musician from Minneapolis, MN who plays double bass and bass guitar. As a composer, he focuses on creating bright moments within the framework of spontaneous group interplay. As an instrumentalist, he plays with a bouncy rhythmic vitality and a fiery optimistic spirit.

Nelson Devereaux has been playing saxophone since the age of eight, inspired to pick up the instrument first by the music of Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt and the Ellington and Basie big bands that he heard while listening to music with his grandfather.
