Born and raised in North Minneapolis, Lakee Abner has been in the music making industry for over 8 years. Started as a choir member in her church at 12, Lakee has been closely involved with music since childhood. At age 18 she graduated lead singer of her High school choir and at age 21 has been established in 3 bands recorded background and lead vocals on over 5 local albums, performed in the most major and highly regarded venues in Minnesota and has had the chance to work along side local gospel legends like Billie Steel and Billy Megloclen. KKTHEINFAMOUS was created in 2018 when Lakee was an amateur underground artist performing between the wooden walls of ‘Bullwinkles’ bar in the college town of Minneapolis. Now making moves and making songs that touch people’s hearts Lakee Abner hopes to continue her blazing trail to any stage willing to handle her flame!
