Mike Wolter Trio featuring Sarah Greer:

Guitarist Mike Wolter has been an increasing presence on the Twin Cities' scene since moving to the area in 2016. He has collaborated with some of the area's most compelling musicians and currently performs and creates with groups including Early Planets, Twins (Thelonious Monk tribute trio), Leslie Vincent, and The Better Mistakes, among many others. He performs a wide assortment of music with a focus on various forms of Black American Music.

Based in the Twin Cities on Dakota homelands, vocalist Sarah M. Greer (www.sarahmgreer.com) has invented music on local and international stages. Sarah performs regularly with numerous Twin Cities jazz musicians, a cappella ensemble the Give Get Sistet, and guests with a variety of players in other projects and collaborations in the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota. She has performed numerous times at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, for NPR’s Talking Volumes (with Give Get Sistet), opened for Take 6 (also with Give Get Sistet) and is a regular performer and founding member of Ebb N’ Flow, a collective of Black improvising artists in the Twin Cities.

An avid singer and song carrier, Sarah released her original and highly improvised debut album What the Music Says Do in 2018. She is passionate, almost evangelical, about every person’s right to sing and about the power of singing to change the world.
