Todd Beeson comes home to play Icehouse (first Minneapolis show in 3 years).

Craig Teiken (featuring Edie Rae) celebrates the release of his latest album, Just.

Minnesota-bred LA-based bassist/singer-songwriter, Todd Beeson, started his music career in the 90’s in Minneapolis. He recorded three albums and toured extensively with the band WOOD before picking up national touring gigs, playing bass with top MN artists–Marlee MacLeod, Dylan Hicks, and Matt Wilson. In 1999, Beeson relocated to LA and played bass primarlily with the alt-rock group THE LIFT (one of Gibson Guitars top 3 Unsigned Bands in LA in 2004- after they had a Developmental Deal with Virgin Records in 2000). THE LIFT toured and recorded two albums that garnered many placements in tv/film. After THE LIFT stopped performing in 2007, Beeson birthed a solo career with his Americana album “Spokes,” released in 2010. Beeson released his latest project called MARVELTY in March of 2017- featuring top LA talent— Michael Jerome (Better Than Ezra/Richard Thompson) on drums / Stevie Blacke (Beck/Weezer/Snoop Dog) on strings/etc / Chris Joyner (Heart/Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes) on keyboards /and another Minnesotan, Barbara Cohen (Brother Sun Sister Moon), on backing vocals. Beeson also has played bass with Mark Seliger’s alt-country band Rusty Truck and recorded with the LA band, LETTERS AND RADIO- and most recently was asked to write the theme song for an upcoming movie called Captain Tsunami’s Army which is set for completion this Fall. Todd has recorded/written music that has appeared in national commercials/film & TV. In addition to his producing/writing/performing, Todd enjoys teaching music to tomorrow’s future stars.
