KYM is a cheeky, queer femme hailing from the Twin Cities, MN. They released their debut EP, “Not 4 U,” in Spring 2020 — six-tracks grounded in pop, salted with early 2000s rock, and garnished with a sprig of folk-like lyricism. KYM has a playful, honest approach to heartbreak, personal growth, and the experiences of navigating the world in a femme body. “Not 4 U” is the album you reach for when you had a rough day and need to dance it out in your underwear in the living room.
Dark Bunny is the dream pop/shoegaze-inspired project of Minneapolis based singer songwriter, Emily Youel. Dark Bunny started as a bedroom pop style solo project in early 2020 but has since blossomed into a four piece band: Emily Youel (vocals/guitar/synth), Christian Wheeler (lead guitar), Emma Withers (drums) and Karl Schutzle (bass). On February 14th, 2022, the self-titled debut album “Dark Bunny” was released, featuring previously released singles, “Overcast”, “Insomnia”, and “Blur”.
Lavender Magazine Feature: “Dark Bunny is a vibe. Their music stings like a hit of nostalgia, sweeping, lush, hazy, filled with epic flourishes and mood; introspective jams for the lovesick, -lorn, -less. Think Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine—something beyond flimsy descriptors: Mazzy Star sharing a rehearsal space with Tamaryn and something else is born, a melting together of sound, style, that could easily soundtrack any city-lights-bleeding-across-the-windshield-of-an-idling-taxi-cab dénouement.”

Foe is a five-piece psychedelic wave-rock band from Minneapolis/St. Paul.
The group takes influence from the 2000’s alt-rock surge and fuses it with their love for video-game soundtracks and audioscapes. Creating tracks that span from hard-hitting rock to atmospheric synth-wave, Foe produces expressive and experimental audio while maintaining a hypnotic catchiness that’ll have you humming under your breath all day.
Riffy, ethereal, and venturesome, Foe invites the listener on an audio trip through universal feels. They seek comfort in the rawness and realness of our being, choosing not to ignore the glaring issues we face, but rather to embrace the unlikeliness of us being here to take them on in the first place.
In true millennial-renaissance style, the band’s passion for DIY culture is clear. They’ve produced each track themselves from the ground up, going so far as to create visual accompaniments via creative video edits and collaborative art commissions with local artists. They also command a unique and vibrant online community that they connect with on streaming platforms with every aspect of their music and creativity.
