Fronted and founded by fight director, songwriter, and guitarist Annie Enneking, Annie and the Bang Bang are a Minneapolis rock band. They genre hop from dreamy folkpop to swampy psychedelic grooves to a grunge-meets-late-sixties vibe, crafting musical gems that value energy, animal intelligence, poetry, and mischief. Their musical DNA consists of bands like R.E.M., PJ Harvey, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Big Star, and Blondie. Andrea Swensson says "Front woman Annie Enneking leads the group with an honest voice dedicated to telling the stories of underdogs and unsung heroes." Cyn Collins says The band performs vibrant real rock.” Beach Sloth says: “…they tap into a purely physical force,” and notes the band’s “gleeful abandon, and a wild feral energy.”

Returning to the stage with original music for the first time in 25 years, Cindy Lawson (The Clams, Whoops Kitty and Curtiss A John Lennon Tribute) and band (Jerry Lefkowitz from Something Fierce, Brent Hanson from House of Large Sizes and Dead Summer, and Dave Randall from numerous bands including The Boot R&B, The Magnolias, The Silent Treatment and Kinda Kinky) play a unique mix of music influenced as much by the Ronettes as the Stooges.
