Kubla Khan is a local MPLS rock’n roll band. Known for infectious live shows, their sound falls somewhere along the lines of Chicago, Ben Folds and Talking Heads.

Founded in 2002, they began as a piano-bass-drum trio and grew to a 7-piece with horns, releasing 3 albums and playing a couple hundred shows. This performance is a rare, one-time reunion show for old and new fans alike.

Andy Ulseth is a songwriter from Minnesota. His celebratory and upbeat folk-rock songs highlight the vivid and visceral minutiae of the modern world rather than focus on the past. Joined by a full band, the music is thoughtful, danceable, and joyous.
