For Tony, music is a birthright. Like air, food and water, music sustains him and makes him whole. “I truly can’t think of anything else that would give me what music does. I get that falling in love for the first time feeling every damn time I perform.”

 Tony was born into a musical family and he has been surrounded by music his entire life. His Mom even had to leave a gig early to give birth to Tony! “I come from a big, musical family of 10 kids. Our family performed around the country, touring in a Greyhound bus. We played at malls, conventions, fairs, and we even played Vegas. As soon as we were old enough to get out there, we were out there.”

 Music is how Tony expresses his thoughts, emotions and ideas, and he hopes his music encourages others to believe they can do the same.

 “I’ve been able to move through some very difficult times in my life by just sitting down and writing my thoughts out in songs. Then to top it all off, when I look out at an audience (whether it’s one person or many) and know they are totally connected to me in that feeling and moment it becomes such an intimate experience that it sometimes brings me to tears.”

It's that feedback loop between Tony and his fans that keeps him going. Sharing his life through song and discovering the things he has in common with his fans is the lifeblood.
