Alice Longyu Gao has proven as one of contemporary music’s most uncompromising and pioneering names. A musician who bends genres and styles by xyr own design, tracks such as ‘Rich Bitch Juice’ and ‘I <3 Harajuku’ have become anthems for a hyper-online community searching for a punk-minded take on pop music far away from the convention of what’s expected from the genre. Alice reaches beyond a singular medium, redefining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate creator. After a left-field take on “the future of music” in the form of Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon collab ‘Believe The Hype’ last year Alice unveiled ‘Hello Kitty’ which showcases joyous disregard for convention perfectly, setting the stage for her highly anticipated second debut EP “Let’s Hope Heteroes Fail, Learn and Retire” out on March 9th.
MKULTRA is a post genre professional shape shifter currently based in NYC. A veteran in the music scene, MK has been playing music since the age of 10, going through many different phases and experimenting with numerous styles, from Metal to Punk to Jazz to Classical, Pop, Noise, Rap and everything in between. MKULTRA is committed to being the “World’s Most Confusing Pop Star”, unafraid to mix styles that shouldn’t mix. MKULTRA’s philosophy and ethos is one of contradiction, heavily influenced by the bizarro post internet culture we’ve all found ourselves in.
The supercharged compositions of multi instrumentalist / producer Rx Cowboy are a supercharged mess of hyper eccentric vocal lines, pulsing rhythms and layered electronic textures.
Having worked in post hardcore, trip hop and downtempo projects in the past, Cowboy brings a cathartic experience drowned in raw energy to live shows and released the industrial hip hop / power noise debut, Castles, in 2022.
