Icehouse and Jazz88 present The Outdoor Courtyard Jazz series Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 5:30-8:00pm at Icehouse throughout the summer. Join us for a special series highlighting some of the region’s finest musicians performing dinner sets on the Icehouse patio located on vibrant Nicollet Ave in South Minneapolis. Full food and beverage menus available outside featuring American cuisine with a southwest and southern twist and craft cocktails.

The Little Trios series, curated by local drummer Joey Van Phillips, brings together many of the top jazz artists in the Twin Cities area for a different trio at each performance, with each being unique and taking on its own form. These trios cover many styles and genres, from straight-ahead classic jazz, and groove heavy contemporary tunes, to free, avant-garde and improvised music. The common thread that runs through this series is the exploration of the space that simmers just under the threshold of "loud," remaining in the "little" spaces, yet thriving on all the hallmarks that make this music so exciting - energy, collaboration, exploration and trust.
