Palms Psalm is a music project created by Eric Pasi. The songs weave surf rock with island vibes, specifically recalling old Polynesian music dug up by Pasi, a first-generation Tongan-American.

The music is an outlet for socially-focused commentary on the climate crisis, advocacy that has consumed his adult life. In 2014 Pasi made a formative visit to Nukualofa, Tonga - his father’s homeland and site of recent volcanic devastation. Much of Tonga is just feet above sea-level, which was exposed by the resulting tsunami. After his father’s death in 2015 Pasi put his musical ambitions on the shelf to focus on climate solutions, and solar power specifically.

He is better-known professionally, as a leader of IPS Solar. The influential American solar company was recently acquired in April 2022 by a public utility company. He also authored a book on clean energy careers in 2020 called CleanWave: A Guide to Success in the Green Recovery.

The forthcoming album is a journey through Pasi’s life and heritage; protest undertones reflect anger at a world complacent with climate-fueled annihilation.

Aiden Intro is the musical project of 22-year-old Minneapolis native Aiden Hengel. Now known for his fun, jazz-influenced indie pop, Aiden began creating music in his college apartment and produced, mixed, and released his first single “June” in the summer of 2021. Aiden and his live band played their first show just days after the release of Aiden Intro’s debut EP, Not Bad, in April of 2022. Since the release of his EP, Aiden has quickly formed a reputation for high-energy live shows that make his audiences want to dance all night.
