full catholic is a four piece electric/acoustic collective based in the Twin Cities featuring hypnotic vocal harmonies, jangly rhythms, frenzied instrumentation, and probing lyricism focused on territories where light and dark, beauty and chaos overlap. Their sound spans traditional-americana, freak-folk, psychedelia, and proto-punk, and has been described as "lightning in a bottle...raw and vivid...a beautifully messy display of vulnerability" [Glide Magazine] possessing an energy that is "extremely present, even pent up" [American Pancake]. The band’s debut LP 'every dream at once' was released summer 2022.
Urban bar-stage stalwart Gabe Barnett, and the ever-evolving crew behind him, them Rounders, seamlessly merge the heartfelt, poetic narratives of a folksinger with the cool, swaggering performance of a jazz combo, and add enough punky spirit, experimental tones, and danceable grooves to keep their sound uniquely their own, accomplishing what so many artists struggle to capture in their creations: timelessness.
Apocalypse Girlfriend (f.k.a. Anima) formed out of a lifelong friendship between band members Raina Gravatt and Jaia Wilbour. Taking inspiration from the folk-roots of their Midwestern home, the two began writing songs and performing together as teenagers. Now with a full band, Apocalypse Girlfriend has blended their sound into a modern fusion of Americana, pop, and psychedelic rock highlighted by delicate harmonies, contemplative songwriting, and expansive soundscapes.
