J.E. Sunde (Jonathan Edward Sunde), a Wisconsin native, is now a Minneapolis, MN based songwriter/composer. Beginning in the years studying western classical music with an emphasis in vocal technique at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Jon spent a decade writing beautifully unusual music with indie-folk trio The Daredevil Christopher Wright. He has since released three solo records, his most recent being “9 Songs About Love” (Vietnam Label) released November of 2020. Bob Boilen of NPR’s All Things Considered speaks of the album "as a fight against melancholy that ends up in a surpassing place — it also speaks to the notion of knowing when a good idea has turned into a great one." With an affinity for the classic American songwriters and performers like Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, and Paul Simon, Jon writes densely poetic songs with a bent toward the philosophical.

There is subtle witty humor threaded throughout the live performance as the music pirouettes between introspective balladry and infectious bouncy folk-pop numbers. Also, his voice sounds like some sort of weird angel.

J.E. Sunde performs solo and as a trio (guitar, bass, and drums)

Originally hailing from New York, Ryan began releasing music with his band The Humble Cheaters in 2016. After releasing two albums, he embarked on what was then a solo endeavor, Stanley. His self-titled debut LP, Stanley, was released on Forged Artifacts (USA) & King Forward Records (NL) in the fall of 2017 and coincided with Ryan's move to Minneapolis.

With a new band in Minneapolis, Stanley released a handful of singles and did several tours, playing with bands like Post Animal, Berta Bigtoe, Purple Funk Metropolis, Slow Pulp, Sleepy Gaucho and many more. Stanley's sophomore release, Afternoon Stanley, came in early 2020 on Acrophase Records.

With shows off the table during the Coronavirus pandemic, Ryan decided to use the opportunity to pursue a new, more folk-oriented, solo project. The debut single, Lemon Farm, came out in the fall of 2020. Shortly thereafter, Monday Love, the debut EP was released. It was mixed by Adam Thein.

The title track was featured as the Song of the Day on Minnesota Public Radio's The Current on January 4th, 2021. The title track of the new album, I'd Like To Meet Your Ghosts - Single, was released on December 1st, and features Eric Slick on drums. The debut solo LP came out on January 20th, 2022.
